When life feels uncertain, the most grounding thing you can do is look up. Not at your circumstances, but at the One who is seated on the throne. Jesus is alive. Jesus is reigning. And Jesus has not forgotten about you.
Hope rooted in God's promises is not wishful thinking. It is a confident anchor. Your situation may feel unclear, but the One who holds your future is not confused at all. He is purposeful, present, and faithful.
You do not have to have all the answers today. You just have to keep your eyes on the One who does.

Day 2: You Were Not Meant to Wait Alone

Acts 1:14 tells us they were all together, constantly in prayer. They leaned into community at the very moment it would have been easiest to pull away.
There is something about a hard season that tempts us to go quiet. We think we do not want to burden anyone. We tell ourselves we will reach out once things get better. But isolation in a season of waiting can quietly rob you of the very encouragement God wants to give you through His people.
God designed the church to be a family, not just a weekly gathering. And some of the most powerful moments of breakthrough in your life will not happen when you are sitting alone trying to carry everything yourself. They will happen when the people of God gather around you and remind you that you are not alone.
You were never meant to wait in isolation. You were meant to wait in community, surrounded by people who will pray with you, remind you of God's faithfulness, and walk with you through the uncertainty.

Day 3: The Voice That Never Changes

That is exactly why staying in God's Word matters so much during uncertain seasons.
Your circumstances may be confusing right now. God's Word is not. Your emotions may be all over the place. God's promises are not. Scripture is the one steady voice that does not change based on how your week is going.
One of the quickest ways to lose your footing in a season of waiting is to stop listening to the voice of God. And one of the most powerful things you can do is fill your mind with His promises until they become louder than your fears.
God's Word is not just information. It is a foundation. When you stand on it, you can remain steady even when everything around you feels shaky. Do not leave the blessings God has for you in His Word untouched. Open it. Read it. Let it speak to you today.

Waiting has a way of reminding us that we are not in control. And while that can feel uncomfortable, it is actually an invitation. The seasons where you feel most powerless are often the seasons where God is inviting you to discover just how powerful it is to draw near to Him.

Humility and dependency are the frequency of heaven. When you come to God acknowledging that you need Him, that you cannot figure this out on your own, that is when the line opens up.
So here is a simple but honest question worth sitting with today: Has your season of waiting driven you to prayer, or is it driving you to worry? Both are responses to uncertainty. Only one of them leads somewhere.

But here is what the story of the early disciples shows us. The waiting was not punishment. It was preparation.
Before Pentecost, before the church was born, before Peter preached and thousands believed, there was a season of waiting. And in that waiting, the disciples prayed, gathered, trusted Scripture, and followed God's appointed leadership. They were being shaped for what was coming.
God is not wasting your waiting either. He is preparing you. The uncertainty you are sitting in right now is not a detour from your purpose. It may be the very path toward it.
The same Jesus who called those first disciples is the same Jesus who is with you today. He has not changed. He has not stepped off the throne. And He has not let go of you.
So as you close out this week, take one of these four practices, looking up with hope, gathering in community, staying in God's Word, or leaning into prayer, and be intentional about it every single day. Trust that God is at work, even when you cannot yet see it.
